I attended St. Paul's School in London for 11 years, spending most of my time in the Engineering Workshop building everything from puzzle boxes to satellites.

YALE

I took a trip across the pond for the first time in 2016 to study at Yale College. I majored in Computer Science with a liberal arts curriculum, collaborated on research projects, and mentored international students.

BROWN

I am excited to announce my enrollment in the ScM Computer Science Program at Brown University as part of the Class of 2022, where I intend to continue my research and explore options in industry.

Head of Braking 2016 - 2018


I served as Braking Department Lead for the Yale undergraduate Space X Hyperloop Team.
I designed braking systems for standard and emergency use, applying extensive CAD modelling and simulation on SolidWorks, and consistent coordination across departments.

I led a team of more than 40 faculty members and students to design, build and race an which optimized excellent efficiency and minimal cost.

Young Enterprise Competition

Head of Production and Design 2014 - 2016


I led production and design for the manufacture and marketing of an which can turn a phone into a computer mouse.
I designed and mass produced a which is paired with the app, and which is rendered in The Gallery.
The phone case was 3D printed for display at the regional final round, and was presented to the judges with an interactive 3D model.
The team earned the Young Enterprise STEM Award and First Place at the Regional Final Round.

Co-Captain 2014 - 2016


Starting in Junior year of high school, I captained a team of aspiring engineers as we entered several competitions.

We started in Brussels and sent a satellite 3,000m into the atmosphere. We then continued into Portugal to win the CanSat competition in 2015. I was also invited to present at the UK School Aerospace Competition.

UK Space Design Competition

Co-Captain 2015 - 2016


I designed and modelled a capable of docking with the ISS and travelling to Mars for a terraforming mission.
The team won First Place at the Regional Final Round and entered the UK Final Round, which concluded with a weekend at Imperial College London. During this time, we attended lectures on cutting edge research across fields, toured the Imperial College science department, and worked on calculating the material properties of various metals in the laboratory.
The UK Final Round included two days working with professors and the team to design a life-sustaining ship capable of hosting terraforming equipment.
The Alberg Science Club earned Second Place.

Intern April 2016


I was granted the opportunity to intern for a week at one of London's most renowned jewellers. I worked in the workshop, design, and marketing teams to produce new designs.
In the workshop, I worked under the supervision of a master jeweller to work with gold, silver, rubies, and aquamarine and handcraft bespoke cufflinks and a . In the design room, I designed new pieces using pens, paint, and CAD for brainstorming. Lastly, I worked with the marketing team to professionally photograph pieces and prepare a new album.
Since 2013, I have crafted amateur jewellery.

CanSat Competition

Head of Hardware & Co-Captain 2014 - 2015


I worked with 2 peers to produce a small satellite for the UK National Competition, and proceeded to win . The team completed 13 additional iterations of the design in preparation for the international competition in Portugal to meet stringent guidelines. In Lisbon, was launched 1,000m in a rocket and dropped, and took and transmitted measurements to the base station the team hosted a mile away from the launch. The findings were presented to a panel of judges, and the team earned First Place at the International CanSat Competition.

Huddersfield Railway Course

Captain July - August 2014


I attended a week-long summer research program hosted by the University of Huddersfield and sponsored by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
I worked with during the program to design and build a model locomotive, which we presented to a panel of judges and tested in a series of mechanical challenges.
The team was awarded the Smallpiece Trust Railway Award for Best Locomotive and Presentation.

ESA Asgard Project

Co-Captain 2013 - 2014


I worked with a to design and build a sensor to load into the Asgard program.
The sensor worked much like a Geiger counter, allowing us to plot the level of radiation against altitude, but rather than using a high energy conductor, the team used a photo-voltaic sensor and clever circuitry.
The team traveled to Brussels to attend a week of lectures and deliver our payload, which was lifted 3,000m by 2 helium balloons, imaged below. On the team, I ensured the function of the circuitry through changing conditions, and led the presentation design and delivery.
